- Chart of the northern and southern celestial hemispheres as seen from the outside looking in, centered on the ecliptic poles, with stars of magnitude 1-6 and nebulae. The text at top reads “PLANISPHAERIUM CAELESTE.” Those at bottom read "Opera G. C. Eimmarti” and “prostat in Officina Homannina." Georg Christoph Eimmart the younger (1638-1705) was a draughtsman and engraver in Nuremberg; Homann was an important publishing house, also in Nuremberg.
