Preserve Kettle or Sap Bucket

Description:

Flared, circular pail with wire bail handle; exterior painted a rust color. Made in three parts: two sides with folded vertical seams and flat bottom with folded edge. Handle ends are looped through pierced ears or tabs riveted at the seams beneath the wire-rolled rim. No marks.
