Description
This cut-glass prism with an image of a vase belonged to Joseph Henry, the physicist who served as founding Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution. Henry might have acquired it at the Centennial Exhibition held in Philadelphia in 1876. And he might have used it as a paper weight
