Key chain, Ross Perot, 1992

Texas entrepreneur Ross Perot was an independent candidate in the 1992 presidential election when he ran against President George H.W. Bush, the Republican, and the eventual winner Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton, a Democrat. Perot received just under 19% of the popular vote making him the most successful third-party candidate since Theodore Roosevelt ran as a Progressive in 1912.
