Description (Brief)
Pair of white leather figure skates with cloth laces and dark brown wooden soles. Steel blades are attached to the bottom of the sole and the skates are lined with a red plaid fabric. These are the "Carol Heiss" model of figure skate and were kept in their original box, 2003.1017.03. They were worn by the donor, Melodie Sweeney, in the 1960's at a community pond where she skated with her parents. Later she used them in junior and senior high at the Marriot Twin Bridges, a smaller outdoor rink.
