- Description
- Some universities used compact punch cards as library cards. Historian of technology Robert Friedel had this one at George Washington University. Note to the phrase “Do not fold, staple, or mutilate.” This warning – or the more widely known “Do not fold, spindle or mutilate” – was printed on cards intended for circulation among those unfamiliar with handling such cards.
