Palmer Method Honor Writing

Description:

Brass button with a “PALMER / METHOD / HONOR / WRITING” inscription on the front. The Palmer Method of penmanship instruction, developed and promoted by Austin Norman Palmer (1860-1927), was essentially a simplified style of the Spencerian Method that had been the major standardized system of handwriting since the 1840s. In time, it became the most popular handwriting system in the United States.
