- The Minnesota Rate of Manipulation Test (or Minnesota Manual Dexterity Test) is a series of tests of eye-hand coordination and motor abilities. The test was released in 1946 and revised in 1957 and again in 1969. It was designed to provide employers with an instrument that would improve the efficiency of personnel selection for jobs requiring arm-and-hand dexterity
