"IWANTU" Comfort Gas Iron Cover with Handle

Description:

Fixed-handle cover or top for a triangular or single-point iron; model name and place manufactured are cast in on top along with the size "6" at the toe. Angular metal strip handle is screwed onto cover and into ends of the black-painted wooden grip; its flat center section is stamped with patent dates. Overhanging cover secures to base 2005.0272.02 by the rounded projection at front below toe and the narrow slot at end, which corresponds to a twist-lock handle on the base.
