Description (Brief)
Label reads: "DC Generator - Wood system." DC generator with four field magnets. Commutator and brushes on one end of armature shaft, coupling on other end. Frame is of the round type with pedestal to support the bearings. Four brushes are used on commutator with adjustable tension arrangement. On plate: "[Serial] No.15374 / 2.5KW / I.S.3431 / 20 AMP / Frame C / Speed 1800 / Type ML Volts- no load 125 / Form, full load 125 / Pat. Aug. 14, 1900, Nov. 18, 1902, Oct 20, 1908."
