Geometric Model by A. Harry Wheeler, Triangle Transformable into Trapezoid (Portion), Plane Dissection

Description:

This hinged dissection has two triangular pieces that may be arranged as a triangle or a quadrilateral.

There is a model of a triangle with its medians which Wheeler variously designated 6K and 12TD. It consisted of six pieces which arrange to form a triangle. Models MA.304723.745, MA.304723.746 1nd 1979.0102.189 are the pieces of this partially hinged model.

A drawing ot 12TD, dated April 2, 1932, is in 1979.3002.55 (folder 1).
