This harmonica was made by Chris Kratt Instrument Co. in the United States, undetermined date. It is a Philomet model in the key of G, with 10 single holes and 20 reeds. This harmonica has a black plastic comb with metal cover plates attached to the top and bottom with screws and nuts. Accessioned with original cardboard box. The harmonica is engraved:

Have my Dads this model and have been looking for more info about it. Dad told stories of playing for his Navy comrades during WWII when stationed on Okinawa. Haven’t been able to determine year made or where he may have acquired it... appears to have been well cared for tho the original box is quite worn.
