This pitch pipe was made by an undetermined maker in Germany, after 1890. It is a Congdon’s model, with 10 single holes and 10 reeds. This pitch pipe has a brown stained wooden comb with a metal cover plate attached to the top with screws. It is stamped:

This pitch pipe was designed for school use by Charles H. Congdon (1856-1928), an American music teacher and music publisher.
