- "Ito Tsukamoto's woven suitcase -- Brought back from Japan on her first visit to Hiroshima in 1934 after residing in the US for some 32 years. [She arrived in Florin in 1902.]"-Mary Tsukamoto
- "This suitcase was used again on her sojourn from the Fresno Assembly Center to Jerome, Arkansas and Gila, Arizona. Notice the green band of paint. The day before departure on May 29, 1942 to the Center, Alfred Tsukamoto (Mary's husband) painted every suitcase and duffle bag with this green band for quick identification."-Mary Tsukamoto
