Description
Circular mirror, 9.5 inches diameter, mounted in a wooden frame, and held on a pedestal with a circular base. The “J. DUBOSCQ, A PARIS” inscription on the brass yoke refers to Jules Duboscq, a French instrument who, after apprenticing with J. B. F. Soleil, went into business on his own around 1849. The yoke is also marked “Schol.”
