Description:

This is a 7-inch 45 rpm singled containing the Nat King Cole song “Mona Lisa” with the B-side “Too Young.” The single was originally released in 1951, this Starline Oldies rerelease with matrix number 45-AA23577 was rereleased in the 1960s. Written by Ray Evans and Jay Livingston, “Mona Lisa” was performed with the backing of Les Baxter and his Orchestra, and won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1950 due to its appearance in Captain Carey, U.S.A before becoming the hit single by Nat King Cole.
