- Description
- Match safes were designed to hold friction matches. This one, made of metal covered with celluloid, promotes Brother William J. Lawson, candidate for State President of Patriot Order Sons of America. This organization, which opposed unrestricted immigration, was established in 1847 and resuscitated in 1868.
