- This sheet music is for the song “Bye Bye Blues,” written by Fred Hamm, Dave Bennett, Bert Lown, and Chauncey Gray. It was published by Irving Berlin, Inc. in New York, New York in 1930. There is an image of American violinist, composer, and orchestra leader Bert Lown. As indicated on the cover, “Bye Bye Blues” was the “signature song of Bert Lown and his Hotel Biltmore Orchestra.” Opened in 1913, the Biltmore Hotel was a luxury hotel in New York City constructed as part of the Terminal City development. The hotel was demolished in 1981.
