National bank note proof from the American National Bank of Sioux City, Iowa.. Charter 3940. $5-5-5-5, 1888. The image on the left is President James Garfield who was assassinated in 1881 soon after he was elected. This note was from the Series of 1882. This bank was chartered on November 14, 1888. It was liquidated on March 3, 1891. There are no notes known among collectors for this bank.
