Description
Digital pigment print of an untitled photograph by Seren Kohen of a group of Hasidic Jews gathered on a street in New York City. The men, in characteristic black hats and coats, stand in groups on the sidewalk and street in front of a brick building. They appear to be talking at ease with one another. Several cars are parked on the street, and one at the lower right of the photo appears to be carefully driving past the men talking in the street. Chunks of ice and mounds of snow cover the ground and few trees visible in the frame.
