Designating Flag, 3rd Division, 15th Army Corps
- Description
- Rectangular wool bunting flag. Blue field with yellow fringe around all sides except the hoist. A painted black cartridge box is in the middle of the flag; on the front flap of the box is yellow oval with "U.S." written in black in the oval. Above the cartridge box are the words "FORTY ROUND" written in an arc of black (faded) letters. White cotton hoist with a grommet at either end. Stamped on the hoist is an inscription which reads "15TH ARMY CORPS 3RD DIVISION." Machine-stitched flag panels (three) using flat-felled seams. Fringe attached by hand-stitching.
