Designating Flag, Headquarters, 24th Army Corps
- Description
- Wool bunting swallowtail flag. Blue field with a white heart applique hand- and machine-stitched in the center of the flag. The heart is pieced at the bottom point. Applied to the heart is a hand-stitched, red number "24" applique. Reinforcement squares of fabric at each hoist corner. White canvas hoist is hand- and machine-stitched; heading has a metal grommet at either end. The inscription on the hoist reads "24TH ARMY/CORPS HEAD QUARTERS." The flag panels have flat-felled, machine-stitched seams and hand-overcast stitches.
