Designating Flag, Headquarters, Cavalry Corps, Army of the Potomac
- Description
- Wool bunting swallowtail flag. Blue field with a white cotton applique of two crossed swords in the center of the flag. A red cotton applique of the letter "C" sits over the right sword and is surmounted by the left sword. Reinforcement squares at either hoist corner. White cotton hoist with a metal grommet at either end. The inscription on the hoist reads "CAVALRY HEAD QUARTERS." The flag is machine-stitched.
