Designating Flag, 1st Division, 1st Veteran Army Corps

Description:

Rectangular wool bunting flag. White field with a red design painted in the center of the flag. The design is a circle with seven fan-leaf shapes radiating from the circle; the edges or these radiating leaves are ridged. In between each of these leaves is a red spear. A green laurel leaf is painted in the center of the red circle. Reinforcement squares at each hoist corner. White cotton hoist with a brass grommet at either end. The inscription on the hoist reads "1ST VETERAN 1ST DIVISION." Machine-stitched seams.
