- Wool bunting pennant flag. Red field with a white cotton double applique of crossed swords in the center of the flag. White cotton hoist with no grommets. Flag is machine-stitched; flat-felled seams join upper to lower ground fabric. Inscription on hoist: "R C Toy 49 N. 9th Phila CAVALRY Corps Army of Potomac Brg / Arty".
