Button, Advertising, Magee Enterprises, Inc.

Description:

This circular button has a white background with dark gray text that reads: "MAGEE. MAGEE ENTERPRISES, INC. Norcross, Georgia". In the center is the image of four floppy disks, one each in green, yellow, red and blue. A mark in black ink on the reverse reads: "Fall CDX '88" in black permanent ink.

In the March 2, 1987 issue of "Computerworld," the magazine staff reported on Automenu version 4 from Magee Enterprises, Inc. Version 4 allowed users of IBM microcomputers and compatibles to set up a menu system that directly executed IBM PC-DOS commands. At the "Fed Micro '90" conference the company demonstrated their set of advanced interface design tools for C Programmers named Screen Manager Professional. This software supported windows and menus, as well as data entry from the keyboard and mouse. It also enabled the overlapping of windows. In 1991 they introduced Network H.Q., an inventory program that collected workstation data when users logged onto the network and added the information to an inventory database.
