Usage conditions apply
This curious instrument from the U.S. Weather Bureau has a vacuum connection, a thermometer and a manometer suspended within a bell jar, 7.5-inches high. The “Jas. Green / Balto” inscription on the thermometer is that of an immigrant instrument maker who worked in Baltimore in the 1830s and 1840s.
