Description
Black and white postcard of singer-songwriter Johnny Tillotson (b. 1939) dating from the early 1960s, It is autographed "To Pat" on reverse. Tillotson's biggest successes came during the teen-pop era of the early nineteen sixties, where the native Floridian scored hits with songs such as "Poetry in Motion" (1960) and "It Keeps Right On A-Hurtin" (1962.) He also sang the theme song for the popular teen television comedy, "Gidget" (1965.)
