A mount used to hold a flash telescope signaling apparatus. .01: A brass mount, .02: a wooden mount and .03: a 3-piece tripod. On tripod: "Folmer & Schwing Div. Eastman Kodak Co. / Rochester, NY / Crown Tripod No.2 / Patented June 23, 1903". Refers to US Patent 731879, "Tripod," issued to William F. Folmer, 23 June 1903.
