This Lamar Green basketball card is number 9 in a series of 264 manufactured by the Topps Company Inc. for the 1973-1974 NBA season. The front of the card features a posed picture of the Phoenix Suns forward. The card’s reverse features a small cartoon image illustrating the factoid that “Lamar didn’t play Basketball until his Jr. Year in High School,” as well as a short biographical sketch and career statistics.
Lamar Green played five seasons in the NBA for the Phoenix Suns and New Orleans Jazz, before finishing his career with the American Basketball Association's Virginia Squires.
