Description
This Lee Winfield basketball card is number 42 in a series of 264 manufactured by the Topps Company Inc. for the 1973-1974 NBA season. The front of the card features a posed picture of the Seattle SuperSonics guard. The card’s reverse features a small cartoon image illustrating the factoid that “They call him ‘Leapin’ Lee’,” as well as a short biographical sketch and career statistics.
Lee played professionally from 1969-1976, starting with the SuperSonics. He went on to play for the Buffalo Braves and the Kansas City Kings.
