Description
Patent model for George W. Cool, “Dental Substitute,” U.S. Patent 71,707 (Dec. 3, 1867). Cool, a pioneering dentist on the West Coast, devised a dental plate with a thin lining of gold attached to the vulcanized or other substrate.
