- The works of a musician are often numbered by order of composition. The French composer Benjamin Godard (1849-1895) wrote seven waltzes. This sheet music,listed on the cover as by "Benjamin Goddard" and on the first page of the music is the "Second Valse" of "Benjamin Godard" is most probably Benjamin Godard's "Valse No. 2." This version was "revised and fingered" by Rudolf Thaler.
