- Description
- Micronauts was a comic book published by Marvel Comics from 1979-1986. It was based on the Micronauts toy line, produced by Mego from 1976 to 1980.
- Marvel’s licensed adaptation ran longer than production of the toys. The comic’s storyline was conceived by Marvel’s authors and artists, although it did incorporate characters and playsets envisioned by the toy company. Further adventures of the Micronauts have been developed by other comic companies over the years.
- In the Marvel comics, the Micronauts are a team of freedom fighters battling in the “Microverse” a microscopic universe found within our own.
