- Description
- This picotiter plate held DNA samples from Costa Rican cacao trees during analysis to sequence the cacao genome from 2009 to 2011. The genome sequencing was part of a $10 million collaboration sponsored by American chocolate company Mars Inc. to work towards developing disease resistant cacao trees and ensuring a stable cacao supply.
