Description
This complex instrument has three separate tubes on one wooden panel. The inscriptions read “BAROMETRE” and “CONTROLEUR DU THERMOMÈTRE SELON REAUMUR / LE SEC /... / LA GORGUE / Department / Du Nord.” The dates of various record temperatures are given; the latest is Lille 1858.
