- WWI French stitchery: tea napkin with Russian Empire coat of arms motif (gold crown at top with red accents; two-headed black eagle at center holding red shield with gold and blue accents; gold scepter in eagle's left foot, gold orb in eagle's right foot). Green embroidery around edges. Pictured at top left of photo. Made by French peasant women in French Lorraine. Sold in America through the Society for Employment of Women in France.
