Description
The Cigarette Card album is made from a composition book with a soft cover illustrated with a diamond drawing of a young girl. Glued over the face of the girl is one Cigarette Card for Virginia Bright Cigarettes. The first ten pages have penciled handwritten text. However, page nine also includes cards glued over the text. Several locations included the dates May 1892 or "1893, Sept 23" or the name "Beatrice E. Ashmead". Cigarette brands also include Empress Bouquet, Old King Cigarettes,Dixie Tobacco, Richmond Club, Admiral, and Cross Cut Cigarettes.
