Staffordshire bust of George Washingon. Bow-front plinth is black. Coat is blue, with mustard yellow waist coat, linen is white. On rear of the plinth is an applied, raised version of the great seal of the United States. and the words "WASHINGTON/Born 1732/Died 1799/ENOCH WOOD Sculpt/1818" and an impressed "402".
