Description
The inscription on this timer reads "INTERVAL CLOCK, MADE EXPRESSLEY FOR ARTHUR W. HALL SCIENTIFIC CO. BOSTON, MASS., BY S. E. THAYER, WESTFIELD, MASS." Arthur Williams Hall (b. 1873) was a Harvard graduate who worked for the Franklin Educational Co. of Boston, and then the Ziegler Electric Co. In 1902, the Ziegler firm was reorganized as the Arthur W. Hall Scientific Co. In 1908 it was consolidated with the L. E. Knott Apparatus Co.
