Description
Glass hydrometer with shot ballast, and paper label marked “Percents of proof spirit at 60 Fahr. G. Tagliabue, N.Y. Patented Oct. 16th 1866.” The relevant patent described a bit of metal that kept the shot from rolling around. There is also an Internal Revenue label.
