Obverse Image: Portrait bust of Christ facing wearing a nimbus cross with two pellets in each limb of the cross, a pallium and colobium and raising his right hand in benediction; in his left hand he holds the book of Gospels.
Obverse Text: IhS / XPS / REX / REGNANTIUM
Reverse Image: Facing portrait busts of Constantine VII with short beard and wearing the loros, and Romanus II beardless wearing chlamys, both are crowned and hold between them a long patriarchal cross.
