Lipan Warrior

Description (Brief):

Sarony & Company (1853-1857) of New York, New York produced this print "Lipan Warrior," as a chromolithograph after an original illustration by expedition artist Arthur C. V. Schott (1814-1875). The image was published in Volume 1, Chapter V "From Mouth of Devil's River to El Paso del Norte" by Nathaniel Micher (1827-1881) in Volume 1, Part 1 of the Report on the United States and Mexican Boundary Survey. The volume was printed in 1857 by A. O. P. Nicholson of Washington, D.C.
