Description (Brief)

This cornet case was made by C.G. Conn in Elkhart, Indiana, 1898. It is made of wood, covered with black-stained leather, metal fittings, and an interior with flip up top level for the cornet and lower level for accessories. The top interior lid is lined with gold satin with an embroidered purple sash:
