- Description (Brief)
- The Thoracoscopic Chitwood DeBakey Clamp was developed around 1996 for the repair and replacement of diseased heart valves using minimally invasive surgical procedures. It has a dual pivot point with a sliding shaft and traditional ring-style handles. This instrument can be used for both video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) and Minimally invasive surgery (MIS).
