Description
This lapel pin was awarded along with the Medal of Honor to Joe Nishimoto by President Bill Clinton on June 21, 2000. This pin would be worn for ceremonial purposes with civilian clothing (normally on a suit coat lapel). The Medal of Honor was awarded to Private First Class Joe M. Nishimoto of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team for extraordinary heroism in action near La Houssière, France.
