Wire splint with paper label that reads “DePuy Adjustable Wire / PATENTED / Forearm and Hand Splint / No. 7 Large Right / DePuy Manufacturing Co., / Warsaw, Indiana.” Revra DePuy (1860-1921), a chemist and pharmaceutical salesman, established this firm in 1895.
