Description
Tycho Brahe (1546-1601) was a Danish nobleman, astronomer, astrologer and alchemist. This engraved image is based on the portrait print created by Jacob de Gheyn in 1586 and published in Brahe’s Astronomiae Instauratae Mechanica. The inscription reads "I. Taylor Sculp."
