- Glass lantern slide depicting a Bunsen-type spectroscope. The “H. B. & W. O. CHAMBERLAIN / BOSTON” incised on the wooden frame refers to a firm of philosophical instrument makers and dealers that was in business, as such, by 1865, and still going in 1876.
