Description (Brief)
Fashion sketch in pencil and watercolors on heavyweight drawing paper for woman’s costume from the 1952 MGM musical film Singing’ in the Rain. The sketch is by costume designer Walter Plunkett. The woman in the drawing is wearing a pink and white large jacket with large sleeves and collar over a knee length dress with buttons down the front from the waist to the knees. She is also wearing a necklace and a headscarf. There is a small pink and white lacey fabric swatch stapled to the front.
